We want to hear from our customers, stakeholders and communities on our Long-Term Priorities to deliver a resilient water future.
We have now published our plans, which set out what we want to achieve by 2050, and are asking customers and stakeholders to let us know what they think.
This is part of a wider set of consultations running over the coming months, with feedback helping us to shape both our short-term delivery plans for the next five to 10 years, and our broader longer-term plans.
Our priorities for 2050, at a glance, are:
- Ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality water for the future
- Understanding and supporting our customers and communities
- Protecting and improving the environment
- Enabling and empowering our people
Katy Taylor, Southern Water’s Chief Customer Officer, said: “We’ve been working hard shaping how we deliver against our vision of creating a resilient water future for our customers in the South East. The activities and priorities we need to deliver in order to achieve this by 2050, are now detailed in plans for everyone to see.
“It’s vital that this strategic direction is clear so that we can continue to deliver essential services for customers in the most sustainable way.
“Our priorities are already shaped through listening to our customers and communities and from studying emerging trends in the environment. Now is the time to see these outputs together and understand what it means to each of our communities.”
