“We’d like to apologise to customers in Newport, Isle Of Wight, PO30 who may be experiencing low pressure or no water due a burst main at Hunny Hill.
Our teams are on site and we’ll be working as quickly as possible to isolate the broken pipe and make repairs.”
10:00 Update
“Most customers affected by the burst on Hunny Hill, Newport, Isle of Wight should be back in supply. Pressure maybe lower than normal as we’re re-routing water around our network. Some properties in the River Way and Dodnor area just North of Hunny Hill are still out of supply – we’re working hard to make repairs and get things back to normal. We do apologise for the disruption and inconvenience.”

“Although we’ve kept most customers in supply by re-routing water from the burst at Hunnyhill, Newport, Isle of Wight, the repair is bigger than we hoped.
The road will be access only to properties, from Hunnycross to the top of Hunnyhill with a diversion through River Way Industrial Estate

Work is continuing our burst pipe at Hunnyhill, Newport, Isle of Wight so the road will have to remain access only today. The road will be closed from Hunnycross to top of Hunnyhill and a diversion in place. We apologise for the disruption this will cause. We apologise for the disruption caused at Hunnyhill, Newport, Isle of Wight. We’ve fixed our pipe but the road has to remain closed except for access until work is complete at the site. We’ll update on progress on Twitter, Facebook and our website.
