Our work in our communities is led by listening to you and understanding our local regions better. We have designed our work around local charities and community hubs, giving educational talks and volunteering. It’s about giving back to our communities across the region we serve.
Volunteering
Our volunteering programme allows colleagues two days paid leave to give back as a group or individually to local charities or community groups.
Educational Resources
NEW WAVE education programme includes in-school lessons, workshops, and assemblies, as well as outdoor learning and eye-opening wastewater tours.
Community Grants
We refreshed our community grant to support local charities and community groups across our regions. Last year we donated £99,000 to local causes.
Community/School Talks
Our FREE talks where we tell you about water, how we deliver it to your home and how we treat wastewater before it's returned safely to the environment.

Our fantastic roadshow events team regularly attend a range of community events across our regions throughout the year.
