During a major incident (like a burst main or loss of water), our contact centre may be very busy with calls – so we'll add a recorded message to our phone lines with up-to-date information and advice on the appropriate action to take. We also post information on our incident map and our Facebook and Twitter pages. If necessary, we broadcast bulletins on the radio and television.
